Mission: Mission 9 Deal with the Devil
Location: Starbase Mercury/M-69 Sickbay
Timeline: Concurrent

On

SICKBAY

Dr Hiri rushed in and immediately began triage protocols. One duty was to get rid of those able to leave.

" Mr Ferengi it is time you left us." said Hiri.
" It is Shep not Mr Ferengi. What's the rush?"
" You are fine to go now. Just bumps and bruises." she hissed.

Over hearing the conversation between Doctor Hiri and the patient Ramvek walked over in mid conversation "Shep Daimon you are free to go; we need all the room that we can get for the injured which seems to be filling up the Sick Bay quickly; you understand" he explained and wasn't going to take no for an answer.

" I see the Ferengi is riffraff. Sure I will leave ." Shep replied.

Hiri purred as he left.
" I never trust them." Hiri said.

Doctor Williams gave Hiri a smirk then whispered "Your instincts certainly aren't unfounded, Doctor. Let's see how we can help these people" as he turned and headed for the north side of Sick Bay.

Lurking oitside Shep watched and then proceeded to a lift and onto the habitat areas. Spying an open shop he decided it was time ro plant some roots.

Doctor Williams was busy tending to his Patients when he noticed the place was getting filled up quickly. Tapping his Comm "Dr. Gram this is Williams, I will be sending you some Patients since we're almost at full to capacity here" he stated.

"Secondary Sick Bay is on standby when the need arises" Dr. Gram replied in her usual EMH style.

The patients from the freighter had all been released which availed Dr Hiri to set up triage and three exam beds.

Noticing the Sick Bay had been cleared of all patients Ramvek walked over to Hiri "Dr. Hiri since you have things well in hand, I'm going up to Ops and check on when the Nova 2 is due to return" he stated with a smile "I'll be back soon."

Hiri yowled to herself , as it was her way, and then returned to her duty. The station medical complex was very large and with this impending situation she realized how big.

Being the first doctor aboard she had been too full of adrenaline to realize it but she was so glad Doctor Williams was aboard.

The Doctor left for the Lift just outside Sick Bay and entered "Deck 1 Ops" he stated then he was off.

[One Hour Later]

Doctor Williams returned to Sick Bay with some very interesting news. Gathering his Staff together he explained “Ok, I just learned from Command we have a bunch of Diplomat folks arriving at the Base shortly. I guess I don't have to tell you to please be on your best behavior. If they become difficult to deal with please let myself or Ensign Stone know and one of us will come over an assist you. Also I'm expecting the Counselor to be here also to help with any issues that may arise concerning our new Patients” he explained in detail “Any question then?”

Ramvek scanned his Staff and no one had any questions “Good, if we work as a team we'll get these folks in and out without any problems. Thank you and you may to back to what you were doing.”

Williams went to his Office to look over a few things waiting for the 'flood gates' to open.
