Ellie was sitting at her table in the lab when the doors opened, she’d had to put in a request to engineering for someone to fix a malfunctioning replicator. Her smile practically shone as her husband stepped through the door. “Hey! So they sent you to fix this pain of replicator huh?”

" I am afraid so. The Prophets smiled on me today. This may take me a few minutes," Odac smiled. Eyeing his beloved peripherally.

“Well I’m the fortunate one having you here with me.” Ellie grinned. “Anyway, the replicator isn’t giving me what I’m asking for. It’s giving out completely random things, either that or nothing at all. I wanted a sample container, instead it gave me a pile of melted goo! It won’t even replicate drinks so I have to keep going next door to get what I want.”

" Oh boy. Let me look at the schematics." Odac replied. His scanner traced back the usage and revealed the culprit.

" Found it. Something is blocking the signal from the replicator articulation. The feed from the holo generators is being rerouted. I will have to trace it back to the holodeck. Say how about a walk or something later?" Odac added

“Sure I’d like that” Ellie nodded and smiled. “Where did you have in mind for a walk?”

" Around the sphere and maybe a stop at one of the new restaurants for supper?"

“That sounds lovely. It seems like ages since we last had a night out together.” She smiled as she thought about it. “Once these two little ones come along we’ll have our hands full.”

" I don't doubt it. It was good to have left the Amandora. A station is a better fit place for a family. Next leave let's go down to Savai. The New Promise base is completed. Thats odd?" Odac added as he found a mystery.

Ellie looked towards her husband curiously. “What is? What have you found?”

" Well I know why your replicator half works. The question is who did this?" Odac replied. " This replicator is being used here and down in sickbay. Excuse me I need to go to sickbay."

“Yova, wait!” Ellie stood up and walked over to where Yova stood. “I don’t understand why you’re so worried about it, I have pregnancy vitamins approved by the doctors maybe that’s why the link to Sickbay.”

" This is a tap someone is using your code to requestion stuff." Yova replied

SICKBAY

When Yova arrived he looked about the room and saw nothing at first to peak his attention but that changed when a Ferengi male approached the replicator.

" So you're the thief." Yova said to the Ferengi.

" Just hungry. The cat doctor put me on a diet." Shep replied.

“So instead you used my codes?” Ellie appeared behind her husband. “No wonder I’ve had problems replicating anything. They can’t be used in two places at once.” She sighed. “This will be reported!”

" But the code was given to me by that blue skin nurse." Shep defended.

“I doubt that very much” Ellie looked at Yova. If it was true the nurse would be in as much trouble as Shep.

" Why would I lie? I am just hungry..." Shep whimpered. " The blue skinned nurse gave me this code and said I could use it to access the food replicator."

" What blue skinned Nurse? We need to ask Doctor Williams about this Nurse." Odac then said.

Ellie nodded in agreement. “I’ll have to head back to the lab, will the replicator work for us now?”

" Yes I changed your log in. Hide it." Odac replied.

" Could you order me some chocolate pudding first?" Shep asked as they both left sickbay.
